Certified Flight Instructor Course Details
Certified Flight Instructor Airplane (CFI / CFIA) Course
This program is designed to take an FAA single engine Commercial Pilot with instrument rating to the completion of the Certified Flight Instructor (CFI / CFIA) in as little as 21 days. Expand your horizons as a professional pilot by adding this rating. 98% of our CFI graduates are hired as line instructors on completion of this course.
Prerequisites:
- Hold an FAA Commercial Single Engine with Instrument Rating
- Have a Valid FAA Medical

- 40 Hours Ground School
- 27.5 Hours Flight Instruction
- 19.5 Hours Pre & Post Flight Briefings

- Be Instrument Current
- (If not current, allow for an additional 3 days for IPC)

Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Course
This course takes the holder of a Certified Flight Instructor rating to a Multi Engine Instructor rating in close to a week. Expand your career horizons as a professional pilot and add this rating to your certificate.

- Have a Valid FAA Medical
- Meet the PIC Requirements of FAR 61.183(j)
